Narcissa

Ok this is the preliminary sketch for a mixed fanart / my twisted take on the Narcissus myth. This finished piece will be a visual response to: [link] . If you know Donna Evans' work, you'll know. Anyways, it's a woman who is not supposed to "be" Narcissa Malfoy, per se, but definitely representing her. And the dead man is to "represent" Lucius Malfoy. hehehehehe. She learns that he has been cheating on her with countless other people one day while she was surfing the net by discovering hoards of fanfiction in which he is paired with... well, anyone and everyone. XD Yeah. So she decides to kill him by stabbing him in the heart. As his blood floods over his chest and pools on the bed sheets, she leans over him to look for her reflection in it. XD Mwaha!

In reality, it is very much a picture of these two characters (for the sake of my professor, I'm not overtly calling them Lucius and Narcissa because you know how professional it'd be to make a fanart for a college level class? Yep, I rest my point.) I am merely using those characters to present my sick and twisted take on that myth in true Victorian style. (Because repression and psychological issues in that period are oh-so-intriguing.) It will be a very dark pic. In watercolors. Because I love to stretch my mediums to places where they rarely go.
