The Fairywood Lyre

Another collab. Actually, several. The body of the Medieval-style lyre was built by my fiance. I then designed the decorations and we put them on together.

The dress I believe is 12th Century French styled. The outter (dark blue) gown and headdress were actually the bridesmaids dress from one of my best friends' Medieval wedding. I then made the undergown and elaborated on the gown's trim, adding beads and embroidery. The necklaces - one was a gift and the other I bought the pendant and a friend showed me how to make heavy chain with chainmail. I love to play my lyre. ^__^ I am working on writing some songs for/on it.
