Theme:The theme of this contest is "Gray City - Fantasy".

What does this mean? It means that you can submit anything that "Gray City" inspires you to make. One rule: it has to have a fantasy element. Other than that, anything goes! Could be fanart, could be any medium. So if you want to draw, say, one of your favourite characters from Lord of the Rings in gray, that's fine. If you want to draw Harry Potter hovering on his broom over a gray city skyline, that's fantastic. If you want to draw mermaids exploring an expansive underwater gray city, wonderful. If you want to make a gray-themed necklace, spectacular. Link in gray? Fabulous! It doesn't even have to be art. You could submit a story or poem, or something crafty, a costume, anything goes. It just has to be "Gray City" inspired and have an element of fantasy to it.

To submit: send me a deviant note with a link to your piece. It has to be uploaded to your Deviantart account, but you can submit links to other pictures of the piece along with the Deviantart link. DO NOT LEAVE ME A COMMENT AT MY DEVIANT HOME PAGE OR MY JOURNAL. Chances are, I may not notice it right away. Also, you CAN enter this contest more than once!

Deadline: Contest closes June 20, 2008. So you have a little over a month to make and upload pictures of your entry. I will open voting that weekend. I will accept votes only after that date, and ONLY by note. There will be a journal entry up to remind everyone to vote. Voting will end on June 27, 2008, and the winners will then be announced.

Prizes: I will make all of the prizes this time around.

(1) The first prize winner will be awarded a three-month Deviantart subscription, a custom bookmark or portrait drawing of ANY character they like, and a choice between a custom dream catcher or a piece of jewelry.

(2) The second prize winner will be awarded a three-month Deviantart subscription and either a custom dream catcher or a piece of jewelry.

(3) The third prize winner will have a choice between a piece of jewelry, a custom dream catcher, or a bookmark drawing of a character of their choice.

As you can see, these prizes are somewhat negotiable. We'll see when we get there.
